I have built SME Server 6.0 RPMs for the Plone Content Management System. This includes Plone 2.0.2, Zope 2.7.0 (contained within the Plone RPM) and Python 2.3.
These RPMs, and other RPMs required by Plone/Python, but not built by me, can be found at:

Feedback welcomed.

Well done ddougan !
I just begin to use such tools. It's seems really complete !
After add some zope contrib to get some samples, it seems gcc become necessary. I never developpe yet under SME : Do you some RPM to recommand for this edition ?
Thank you, Flo_turc

Thanks for the kind words.
By default, SME Server does not come with development tools such as gcc, primarily for security reasons. Most people doing development seem (as I do) to have a test box for this purpose. There are the various SME 6.x compile tools at:

I allready install your RPMs. It's working well. I tried to setup MySQLdb to use ZMySQLDA, MySQLSession etc...
MySQLdb seems to be compiled by by using the command
"/opt/plone2/bin/python setup.py"
And this script require "gcc" and SME 6.0.1 doesn't include this compilator. So I'm asking now if you have some additional RPM to recommand to compile under SME.
Sorry for this poor english...
