Post by: mikeh on May 28, 2004, 11:01:40 PM
hello all

i don't know if this has been asked before, i could not find anything in searching.  I have used the retail mitel server, and there is a great feature that i can log in to a webpage and very all server that i have implemented at verious customers, but as i no longer deal with mitel for retail product i would like to know if ther is an opensource gpl version of this type of feature.

thnx mike

Maybe one can achieve this using mrtg and or sysmon. Afaik there is no ready to use contrib/feature to join distributed servers together.

Npulse - I use it to monitor 15 machines & it works great.  It's a bit arcane to configure, but once you have it running it just works.  Sends an email if a server (or service on the server) goes down.

Get it here:
