Title: SME 6.0.1 Update Question
Post by: sc300t on May 29, 2004, 01:35:08 AM
Hi,

I have just upgraded my SME server to 6.0.1 with clamav and spamassassin installed. There is currently one update (the initscripts) for the 6.0.1. The thing is there are 2 of them. One is the RPM and the other is the SRPMS. My questions are:
1. Which one do I need to install? Is it Both?
2. Do I use the rpm -Uvh command to upgrade?
3. Do I need to add --replacepkgs?

Thanks.

Hi,
You only need the rpm and I beleive it is installed using: "rpm -Uvh initscripts-6.67-1es26.i386.rpm" or use the "update sysytem" option under "administration" in server-manager.
Hope this helps.
regards,
Del
