Title: can't add a pseudonym called "news"
Post by: wyldphyre on May 30, 2004, 05:43:33 AM
I am in the process of setting up SME server to replicate the accounts I already have hosted elsewhere, but I have hit a snag.

I can't seem to add a pseudonym called "news" for one of my accounts. I assume this is because it is already in use somewhere in the system. Is this the case?

And is there a solution to this?

thanks

Use another account name

grep "news" /home/e-smith/accounts

news=system .....

Title: guess I'll have to change the mail name then

I was hoping I would be able to continue to the news address, but fortunately I can change the email address with minimal effort, so I'll do that.

thanks
