I need to FTP some files to some webspace somewhere
but now I have my home LAN working ok with e-Smith
I am told by WSFTPPro that I cant get a connection.

How can I get out ?

Many Thanks

ps Sorry if this is a dumb quesiton and its really obvious
I would appreciate any advice, even RTFM as long as you

You can try LeechFTP which is free as far as I know
Get it from here:
http://stud.fh-heilbronn.de/~jdebis/leechftp/files/lftp13.zip

AND there is also a WSFTP Light Version which is free
it's on the same Site as the Pro Version.

Depending on yous OS there should be also a Commandline
FTP-Tool included ;-))

Did you have setup WSFTP to make passive connections ??

I use Version 6.02 without passive mode AND without problems
