Title: How to limit the filesize accepted by the mail server ?
Post by: Wilfried Lechner on August 30, 2001, 03:31:36 PM
Hi to all fiends of e-smith !

Im a medium skilled user an have some problems with the konfiguration of the mail server part of e.-smith.
Last week i got 10 junk emails, all with 80 MB (800MB) attachment and e-smith did not reject them. I thought e-smith has a "normal" limit of attachment size to be accepted but it seems to be it is not implemented or to high.

Q: is it poosible to set manually a limit for attachmnet size

any help is welcome

if you collect from a pop account the mailfilter rpm will let you set a maximum size.
