Title: AWStats and virtual domains
Post by: thejubster on June 27, 2004, 05:32:37 PM
I am running SME 6.0.0 and have successfully added awstats-sme-server-2.3.3-0.noarch.rpm to my system.

I am able to view the logs for the primary and virtual domains.

However, only hits from my local network (192.168.11.X) are showing up in the statistics for my virtual domain.

Visitors from the outside my network access the site via this chain

http:MY_DOMAIN >>points at >>> MY_DOMAIN_REGISTRAR >>redirects to >> MY_CABLE_IP/VIRTUAL_DOMAIN_IBAY
:-?

would this perhaps prevent awstats from recognising these hits as belonging to the virtual domain?

I know that hits are definitely being counted but they only appear in the statistics for my primary domain.

my configuration, in part (from server-manager panel) is as follows

Ignore hits from your local network: YES
Ignore hits from your external IP or network: YES/External IP
Ignore hits from local networks as
defined in the 'Local networks' panel:YES

any suggestions gratefully recieved!

thanks in advance!
