Title: Employee leaves and deletes pst file, help to indite person
Post by: avraham on July 02, 2004, 12:47:26 PM
SME 6 with local pop3 emptying server into pst file. Employee gave notice on Jun 30 after deleteing pst file which was on windows file server. Is there any chance of getting more than the logs on the sme server. I have seen that there was correspondence but cant find which attachments  were sent. Outlook 2000 grabs email and then stored on windows 2000 server.
thanks in advance

There might still be a chance that you can recover the .pst file.

When a client deletes a file from a remote resource, the deleted file will be place on that computer's recycle bin.

Get yourself a copy of Recover4All. It is a data recovery tool used to recover information upto sector level (even if you lost the partition or formatted the hard disk drive, it can still recover data.) DO NOT DEFRAG EITHER THE WORKSTATION OR THE SERVER. This will destroy any chances of recovering information.

Good Luck

For this I would rather suggest to stick to Recover4All only - Server and Workstation.
