Is there a way to hide the Primary share from ordinary users?

Hi,

You could hide the share from all users by doing the following,

edit the following file;

/etc/e-smith/templates/etc/smb.conf/60primary

add the line

browsable = no

Now tell the system to apply the configuration
/sbin/e-smith/signal-event post-upgrade
/sbin/e-smith/signal-event reboot

Hi - this was very useful, however I'd like to ask for more (:

How does one only show ibays to users who have access to them?
Ie, in network neighbourhood, under the server, i have a list of all ibays, regardless of whether i can access them or not.

When I double-click on an ibay that I don't have access to, windoze brings up a dialog box saying " is not accessible. Access is denied." - Retry or Cancel. For these ibays, I want them not to show up in the network neighbourhood --> server window at all. I've fiddled with smb.conf a little, but can't seem to make it work.

Thanks for any help...
Greg.
