Hello,
Could someone help me.
I have a Windows NT server and an E-smith-server. My NT server is domain-controller.
I want to store my Windows profiles on the E-smith server.
Could someone explain how I should do that? What are the rights of the profile maps, etc? Because I have a configured the windows NT server with the right path. But when I login, I recieve the message that the profile is not found. He only creates the usermap but not the complete profile.
I hope you can help me.

All usernames and passwords are created on both the NT server and the SME box?
IF so could you try setting the SME box as DC and demoting (or for simplicity just unplugging from the network) the NT box.. Just a thought...

Hi,
You can also set SAMBA as a member of the NT Domain.
But this is more a samba issue than a SME issue. Maybe can you find more information on a Samba forum ?
HTH,

Under Windows they have a thing called User Manager
in User Manager, they have a button called Profiles
Under Profiles they have an entry called Profile Path
