Title: I Missed my server.....

Ok daft questions being my fave type, due to "issues" i havent had a server for over a year now, i was opperating on version 5.4(ithink) and i was wondering  since ther have been advances, would i be best starting from scratch and with the most reasent version or should i stick with what i know and upgrade once i have gotten back into the swing of things. down time isnt realy that big of an issue for me (coz my server has been down for over a year now so who would notice) any questions comments or even suggestions like "make ur own mind up" would be appreceated

That way you get all of the feature and security updates - there have been plenty since 5

I don't know about everyone else, but I appreciate the aesthetics of the redesigned contribs.org version.

Me too... it is a good job.

Upgrade to the latest version - for security, if nothing else. As far as what you do to set it up, etc., there's not much difference - you'll feel right at home ;-)
