My server really started to bog down some, so I went and did a reboot on it.
I think my kid hit the reset button on my server a few times without me knowing it. :hammer:
Anyway, it asked me to run "fsck" without the -a or -p switches.
Well, I did that, and I had it correct the errors automatically. I have samba access and can still access via putty, but it is not serving otherwise. Atleast I was able to backup that days information.
The first error that comes up on bootup is:
/sbin/mkkerneldoth :line9 :349 Segmentation Fault
rpm -q kernel$KERNEL_TYPE-$KERNEL_RELEASE >dev/null 2>&1
I am still new to the whole linux deal, and would like to learn how do I fix this.
