Title: Does anyone host e-smith-sysmon
Post by: wellsi on July 25, 2004, 10:37:47 AM
Does anyone host e-smith-sysmon (and related files)?

This is a useful contrib which does not appear to be available at Lordsfarm.net anymore.

Alternatively does anyone have a replacement for this?

Locally here I have

There may have been newer versions

---
4.0.8 can be found from http://sme.swerts-knudsen.dk/
4.0.5 can be found from http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver/contribs/star/mitel/contrib/sysmon_40/

but I have not yet found a replica of the latest versions

I have v4.0.7 running, attempted to upgrade ones with no luck so I re-installed v4.0.7.

Hi Ergin,

would you be happy for me to point to that directory from http://www.wellsi.com/sme/sysmon/sysmon.html

An alternative would be for me to ask contribs.org to host them.

What problems did you have with 4.1-1, I currently have this running on two servers here with no obvious problems.

Hi Ian!

1 - Sure, no problem...

2 - I remember I had to remove old rrd-files but missed that(no graphics) , so I just re-installed v4.0.7 and it works so I didn't bother to try it again...

I think I will now try to install lm_sensor.

Thanks,

regarding installing lm_sensor, I have a new recommended method of first upgrading the kernel then take the latest lm_sensor RPM
