Title: easy LanLord for version 6.01?
Post by: chris burnat on July 28, 2004, 06:39:38 AM
I am experiencing some strange behaviour associated with e-smith-esi-lanlord-1.0.2-02.noarch.rpm. Sometimes, it installs, at other times, it is listed as installed, but does not show on server - manager.  When I try to uninstall it, the output is " rpm not installed".  But it is listed when doing rpm -qa.  Beats me.

Tried a number of remedies found in posts over the past few months, to no avail.  Is there another (more recent) rpm available?  1.02-02 appears to be for Vs5.6...
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks
chris

Try
cd /root
rpm -q e-smith-esi-lanlord

rpm -qa only gives correct output depending where you are in the folder tree, or otherwise gives incorrect output

see
man rpm
