Title: help? forgot admin password

I know this looks bad, but I have been out of the school for a while and my office is torn apart and I can't for the life of me remember my password.

Is there a way from the console to access this system?

If not I will just have to reinstall and load all the data back on at another time.

Interupt the boot sequence:
hit ctrl-x at the boot splash-screen

start sme server in single user mode:
(press tab for a list of available kernels)
SMEserver-up single

change admin password:
passwd admin <newpassword>


reboot
