Title: Internet logging
Post by: jsg on August 04, 2004, 10:21:35 PM
We are 10 people sharing an internet connection using sme-server as internet gateway.
Is it possible to log Internet activity, so that the superuser can check who did what and when, should it be necessary?

Configuration:

   [local network with 10 users]
       |
       |
SME  eth0  eth1
             |
             |
          [adsl connection]

you can use

proxy.domain.co.uk:3128

to enable squid. set this up in browser. will then be logged on emsith under logfiles.

Try to use SARG contrib for SME. It does exactly what you need.
