Title: New HDD Including Data

Hi all,

Ive got a HDD and i need to connect it to the server, to act as a bit of a fileserver.  Where do i start!  I gotta keep all the data on it too.  Its got lots of files with a ntfs partition.

Any help would be appreciated.

Try this link - not tried it, but I would backup your NTFS disk first(ghost or similar)

I.ve used this howto a few times, no problems.  Start from step 4, and of course ignore all of step 7, the last thing you want is to copy your home directory on your disk. Also Back-up your data before mounting it - one never know.. chris
