Title: Clamd not starting after reboot.
Post by: charlien on August 09, 2004, 04:37:14 PM
I installed Clam AV on a SME6.01 server using the scripts on the Swerts-Knudsen.dk site. I've done this serveral times and it has worked very well. The last has a problem. Clamd does not start automatically but runs fine when manually started.

I poked around in a working server and compared it to the server with the problem. There is a script missing in the problem server at /etc/rc.d/rc7.d/@s97clamd. This is where scripts run in a standard SME server correct?

Should I copy the script from one server to the other?

there should be no need to copy the script from one server to another, the file in rc7.d is a symlink to the clamd script in /etc/rc.d/init.d. If that exists just create a symlink to it and name it S97clamd
