Title: Port Fowarding :(

Hi Guys,

Im a newbie at this, but I need to;

1 - Disable the mail server and

2 - Port foward 25 to a internal novell mail server.

Im used to ipportfwd on embeded linux routers, but dont seem to find what I need in the bins. (ipmasqxx etc)

PLease help :( , Thx in advance

You need to use the ipmasqadm command to forward the ports.

Something like this should work

ipmasqadm portfw -a -P tcp -L 25 -R 25

Not quite sure how you can disable qmail, probably need to modify one of the templates located in /etc/e-smith/templates (I think the inetd one starts qmail, but I am probably wrong)

Hi,

No need to use portforwarding in such a case as this. If you only want to forward port 25 to whatever server you can use the 'Delegate Mail Server' option in the E-Smith Manager. This option is behind menu-item 'Email Retrieval'.

This way you can easy forward all mail to the server further on in the line.

Hope this was enough to solve your specific 'problem'

I have a question like this, too.

I have a linux server to connect with the I-net and another pc with Gamevoice.
I need to forward UDP Port 9110 but how ??

Plaese a easy tutorial plaese plaese !
