Title: non-existing ip address in httpd.conf
Post by: Kevin on September 08, 2001, 03:13:51 PM
There is a non-existing ip address in my httpd.conf template. I have not put it there myself. When i check ip configuration with 'ifconfig' it doesn't show up. I'm using the latest version of e-smith (1.4.2) and i updated the base recently.
The IP address is : 192.168.65.17
I do not use DHCP, the internal ip address of the server is fixed...
If i remove it from the httpd.conf it's ok, but when i add a new virtual domain, it gets added under that ip...

Anybody?

Hi Kevin, that sounds like the default external IP address that e-smith uses. Have you got your server setup as server only or as gateway as well, which would probably cause this to happen-mind you, it wouldn't hurt to leave it there.
