Title: clamav / clamscan / H+BEDV - oversized.zip
Post by: cyberdude on August 13, 2004, 03:17:39 PM
Hi there!

I have yesterday instal antivirus to my E-smith 6.0 and bought the manager pannel form dungog.net

But when the total file scan took place over night i got a report about 9 files in a i-bay
--- snip ---
/home/e-smith/files/ibays//noname_/files/atfra3/zip/pur3ra3map1.zip: Oversized.Zip FOUND
/home/e-smith/files/ibays//noname_/files/atfra3/zip/ra3combat.zip: Oversized.Zip FOUND

ant the files was moved from the orgianl place to a "quaranteen" place

I have the searched the net finding out why it was marked as "oversized.zip" and figured out that the program (clamscan) checks archiwed files for a ratio thing - and by default it is set to 200 - but the files i have requiers the walue to be set to 900
testet with "clamscan --max-ratio 900 filename.zip" at the command line and then it validated "OK"

but my problem is now that i can't find the .conf file where i changes this walue - does any of you guys know where to changes this setting ??

From memory, after a quarantine event has taken place, some appropriate information appears in the control panel and it wasn't difficult to track the holding directory down and deal with it. I just can't specifically remember the precise directory;~/

best wishes, Robert
