Title: Help on managing printers on SME 6.0.1
Post by: BobWilliams on August 15, 2004, 07:07:02 PM
I need help managing printers on SME 6.0.1. I need to know how to check the print queues and clear print jobs out of the queue and stuff like that. How can I tell what printers are connected to the server?
Is there any Howto's for SME Printer Management?
I know how to set them up with the SME Server Manager
but don't know how to manage printers.
Thanks

Install cups, that has a better gui that suits your needs better.

You find the howto here http://forums.contribs.org/index.php?topic=21045.0

matsck, I get the IE "page cannot be found" error message when clicking on: http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver/contribs/eform/SME%206.0%20final%20updates/Printer%20setup%20problem/
could it be that that file was not brought over from the e-smith site? How can I find it?
