I want to install the Apache dev packages from apache.org primarily to get apxs. Near as I can tell this requires a complete install of apache 1.3.31, or possibly apache 2.0.50.
Has anyone else taken this step?
Has it worked or caused you problems?
Is it necessary to uninstall v1.3.27 prior to installing the new version?
