Title: UK ISP's
Post by: Matt on August 18, 2004, 09:51:36 PM
I would be interested to hear people's experience with UK ISP's.  I have been with BT for a year and would like to change my broadband account which has a static IP.  There seem to be a huge number of other ISP's out there and I have not been very happy with BT, especially their technical support which is pretty poor.  So I would be intersted to hear other people's suggestions.

Cheers

I have been with Demon for 10 years now (the last 3 on ADSL) & I have no complaints.  Not the cheapest, but tech support is good when you need it (about 2 times a year in my case!).

It's worth having a look on http://www.adslguide.org.uk for comparisons & user experiences of the various ISPs.

zen.co.uk at Rochdale are suppose to have a good reputation.

I have been using pipex.net for about a year. They are one of the cheapest at 23.44 per month but they charge extra for Static IP
