Title: Editing httpd.conf?

I'm setting up a website and I would like to know how do you edit httpd.conf so the
 
home/e-smith/ibay/primary/html

directory is point to another directory

home/e-smith/ibay/?/html?

or is there another way to do this?

create another-ibay via server-manager.
go to domains and change primary domain to be server from another-ibay.
No need to edit httpd.conf
