Title: Printing protocols provided/supported by SME 5.6 & +++
Post by: Quadrax on August 22, 2004, 11:07:41 PM
Hello,

Somebody asks me about the printing protocl()s supported by SME 5.6 and higher.

SMB is a printing protocol provide or supported (I'm beginner and don't know anything about :-( :cry: ) by Samba ? Is it right ??

Then, this same person told me about another printing protocol named "SMP" or something like this.

SMP is it the good name of this other protocol ? if not what is the right name ?
Also, this other protocol is it supported/provided by SME 5.6 ??

(I'm sorry, I'm a beginner...) :-(

Thank you by advance.

This should go under "General Discussion". Please browse some documentation for this. Reading is half the fun.
