Hello All,
I've been running e-smith 4.1 rc5 for quite some time and think it's about time to upgrade to 4.2. I'm a little worried about the things I'm running on the server upgrading nicely. I have a couple of applications running on the mysql server, do these upgrade nicely? Has anyone experienced problems here? Any suggestions for a safe upgrade, beyond doing the normal back-up?
Thanks in advance.

Further....
Should I go for a full upgrade, or just upgrade the updated packages? If the second is a good idea what packages?

I don't know where you are going to get 4.2 from. I assume that you mean 4.1.2 :-)

There shouldn't be any problems. I can't vouch for your additional apps, of course, but nothing should affect them.
