So I have a Lexmark e210 shared on my SME 6.0.1. My Win2000 box is easy to install the printer on, by browsing to the shared printer on the network and right-click, hit "connect". Done deal, now I can print. However...
How do I install that same shared printer on my White Box Linux (Red Hat compatible) machine? I'm not clear on exactly what way to set up the printer. There are several options, and none of them sound familiar.
The short version of my question is what protocol does the SME6 use to share the printer?
Thanks!!

See if you can tell White Linux that a remote lpr printer is at the ip address of the sme box.
The protocol is LPR

OK, I'll try that, and report back...
Thank you!
