Title: Bandwidth monitoring
Post by: adolfas on September 01, 2004, 10:46:26 AM
Hi,
I have suspicions, that few users are downloading alot, and killing all bandwidth. I looked for soft in sourceforge.org, but there is a lot and I dont know if they are good and if they do what I need. I tryed cacti, but it works on win xp and 2k only. Can anyone recommend me good one? Thanks

See http://no.longer.valid/phpwiki/index.php/Install%20ObjectPlanets%20Network%20Probe%20How%20To

Very slick and does exactly what you are looking for. I think the commercial version can be used for free, but only logs for one day at a time.

Michiel

I've downloaded JRE file in bin. How to extract this file? Ive tryed with isobuster, as I always extract it, but it can recognize this type.

After 2 comes 3 ;-)

See step 3 of the how-to where it is explained how to make JRE executable and then to run it.
