I logged onto SME 6.0 via ssh and listed the contents of /etc. I noticed an entry flashing with a red background with the name "esmith::Backup=HASH(0x80fbb0c)".
I am still very much a neophyte with Linux. What does this indicate?

I have one of these too....never noticed it until today when I had to rebuild the server due to motherboard failure - thank the deity of your choice for backup2ws! :-)

Three 6.0.1 boxes, all the same invalid symblic link.
Must be some bug in some script, but haven't determined which one yet..

I'd hazard a guess that it's inside the e-smith-backup rpm. Please post a bug on the bug tracker on this site.
