Title: E-smith VPN behind a Freesco firewall
Post by: David on September 17, 2001, 04:54:10 AM
I have E-Smith setup behind a Freesco firewall and need to know what port(s) need to be forwarded to enable outside users VPN access?  Currently I have port 1723 TCP.  I'm able vpn on the local net.  Also, are there any Linux VPN clients that will work with e-smith's setup?

Thanks

You have to install the new freesco kernel (there's a link on the freesco.org site somewhere) this kernel supports gre protocol 47
