Title: Using Portsentry
Post by: Darren on September 19, 2001, 03:31:01 AM
Hello All,

I am trying to get portsentry/logcheck running on my e-smith box, but I seem to be having problems installing it, seems that I'm missing 'cc' which I take is part of the GCC compiler, is there a way round this ?

Is it as simple as installing gcc on my e-smith server ( sound like mucho work ?)

Cheers for any help

Regards

Darren Rogers

Check the FAQ--it explains that development tools aren't installed, and why.  Install portsentry from an RPM.
