Title: How to monitor VPN acces

Hallo,

We use for a long time the SME server And with the latest version we are started to use also VPN acces.

Is there a possebility to monitor the use of the VPN acces.

On this moment I can only see that someone use it (with server-monitor). But you can't see how and for howlong.

Is there a logfile you can read are something like that.

The both are only in french ... It's hardcoded in the Perl scripts.
BTW this contrib is too good to stay only in french.

Looks like a tool that should be included in SME.

Anyone contacted the author to see if it possible to get a translation?

Very good. I would like to try it out too, but i am only on lesson 10 with french: "plan de la journee".

I have installed these contrib in the french langage.

And on this moment I can see how's connected ect.

the writer off these contrib have make a nice job to also include sysmon information (with MRTG ect). Also he use a MySql databse to store logging information (thats very good).

Hope full is there sombody how can reach the writer so we can make a translation.
Yes, it's true that everything is hardcoded in the perl langage.


Hope waiting on the translation so I can change to english langage.

It's done ;-) (french forum of ixus.net)

The guy seems quite busy right now but he foresees to work on it in a couple of weeks.

He prefers posting his work to contribs.org only when all will be done ...
