Title: Webmail Timezone Incorrect
Post by: Olsen on October 04, 2004, 07:29:05 PM
SME server version 6.0.1

I am having problems with the webmail timezone being different than the timezone on the server.  My server-manager is showing the correct date and time, but my webmail is showing two hours earlier ( I am assuming a time zone problem ).  I tried to change the timezone on webmail from the default to my region, but that did not solve the problem.

HELP!!!!

Please.

are there any settings that you have changed on the sme server? i read that if you changed the time mannually this would not update the server with a time clock externally? maybe a conflict??

No I have not changed the time externally, I did it upon install of the server.

Also, Would anyone happen to have the login.php file for imp....?

you can download IMP from Horde http://www.horde.org
Just untar the file and copy the login.php file into your imp directory

Yeah, Had a brain freeze and did so shortly after making that post.

AS FOR THE TIME DIFFERENCE.

I fixed the problem....I had to change the date and time four or five different times in order for the server to finally correct itself.....
Just once did not change it, but several times did....

All is good now.

you could always configure your server to pick up the time from an NTP server.
A list of Stratum 2 servers can be found here
