3.1 installed with out a hitch accept the dial up script fails to log into my ISP. I expected this as I have not had luck with PPP or Chap logins in the past. However using a script I can log in everything. My question is - were can I get access to the chat scripts? I logged in as root and searched the normal locations for a bit without any success. Any one point me in the right direction? Thanks.

[ISPs which don't support PAP or CHAP logins are rare these days...]
Anyway, the template for the chat file is:
/etc/e-smith/templates/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/chat-ppp0
Try out your changes by editing /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/chat-ppp0, then once it is working, edit the template then do:
/sbin/e-smith/signal-event console-save
