Hi all, I've been using SME server 5.5 for over a year now as a web design testbed. Just upgraded to version 6.0.1-01. Runs good, however.
I have never been able to run perl or cgi scripts properly. Always get some kind of server error, even with something as simple as "Hello World" ???
I've tried putting the script in the cgi-bin and just in the html folder. Any ides on setting up or testing perl on my version would be helpful.
Thanks, Ron 8-)

I have done no CGI scripting myself, just little scripts that make my life easier...
I have found www.perlmonks.org to be an awesome reasource.. You should take a look. I know they have CGI related docs..

Just to make sure of the obvious.....
Did you enabled the "Execution of dynamic Content"?
