Hi Hanky - SME Server comes with a cacheing DNS server called TinyDNS (djbdns). You can find out more about it here:
http://cr.yp.to/djbdns.html
It will provide name resolution services for any client on your network. Did you need something else?

Thanks RonM first
because i have a problem about DNS,
i have 1 windows 2000 server(running http serives) and the name call svr88. Last time i setup a e-smith 6.0(domain name call abc) make it to internet getway and DHCP server. but, if other cleint connect to svr88 (for example: http://svr88), it cannot show the website (the link like http://svr88.abc ), so i think that is DNS problem, did you have this problme?
thanks

Some questions:
Can you ping svr88 from a client that can't webbrowse to it?
Are the clients, svr88 and the local nic on SME on the same subnet?
if you do a ping -a svr88 what name comes back?
Assuming you have Windows clients, if you add svr88(or whatever name comes back).abc xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file, can that client then browse to http://svr88.abc/page? (This is not a fix, but shows you do have a name resolution issue)
You might want to take a look at the results of an ipconfig /all command on both a client and svr88.
