Hi Guys,
I am new SME (I think it is great). I am using it for primarily an email server.
What is the best Antivirus Solution for SME? I am a Newbie to linux in general so a simple installation would be great :)
Can anyone point me to a HOWTO and the files I need to download for a good email scanning solution?
Also is there anyway to TAG the outgoing emails with a DISCLAIMER?? Once again... i need a SIMPLE install and a HOW TO:
Thanks Guys. This is a great online community. If only all other communities could be as helpful.
Cheers
Aaron

Hi Aaron,
Look at http://www.dungog.net/sme/help/SMEhelp/Antivirus.html Clamav is GPL and H+BEDV is free for non-commercial use.
Together they work great.

The Clamav contrib from pagefault.org works well, see
http://www.pagefault.org
I use it in conjunction with file & attachment blocking using Pattern matching, see
ftp://ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/smeserver/contribs/rmitchell/smeserver/howto/Virus%20and%20file%20blocking%20HOWTO%20using%20smtpfront-qmail%20for%20sme%20server.htm
Clamav only detects one or two viruses every couple of months (instead of 100's or 1000's previously), as all the virus infected messages are rejected by the Patterm matching contrib.
There are some newer rpms than those listed in the HOWTO and you may need to download some required dependcy rpms from the .../devel folder on one of the mirrors eg
ftp://ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/e-smith/devel/
