I'm having a problem setting the connection to the internet and my DSL is of little or no help. The information I do have is:
I Use a cisco 677 router operating in bridging mode to communicate to the internet.
My IP address reports differently on the internet than it does on winipcfg
My ISP help desk (frontier dsl) is unable to tell me any of the settings I need or tell me if I run through a fire wall on their side or not.
So far, I have tried every known setup I can think of with no luck.
Does anyone have any advice on something I may have missed?

New information from the local office. My DSL is actually connection through PPPOA, does this make a difference?
