Title: Setting up Web Server with domain name

Hi

I have just bought a domain name lets say for example mysite.com, which at the moment is parked with the domain name provider and I have a SHDSL Connection with is 512/512 with a Static IP Address.

Now the domain name provider can provide me with DNS Hosting. What I want is to have my SME Server as my Web and Email Server, How do I go about setting it up so when I type in www.mysite.com it goes straight to my SME Server which has the website on it.

Hi Matthew,

these are very basic question that are described in the manual. Please do a bit of reading first to get the basics of SME Server. It talks a lot easier!

He's correct in that..I got mine running from my house on my server just from the manual and doing some digging.. More important problems lie ahead :)
