Title: SME 5 Worth Downloading?
Post by: Doug on September 26, 2001, 01:55:04 AM
I just read the brochure on SME 5. I don't know if I'm going to download it. I'm using ver 4.12 and works great for me. The hardware requirements seem a little steep, 400 mhz Pentium? 128 mb ram? I'm using a pentium 75 mhz with 64 mb ram. The only new feature I can see is the ServiceLink. Are there any other really significant improvements that would make it worth installing?

Hmmm, i think it is..

I have run EM since version 3.0 and the SME V5 is good.
I think it is run's better on my P-200/96Mb  then 4.1.2 did.!!

Now we can update i the manager interface, that's cool..

What can i say, it work's for me..:-)

Hint: It's all documented in the release announcement...
