Title: Mapping MAC's to IP's through DHCP
Post by: ztasevski on November 30, 2004, 06:41:51 AM
Hi,

Just wondering if there's a module where you can map MAC's to a pool of static IP's through DHCP ?

Installed the "DHCP Manager" contrib as per:
http://www.developit.fr/FichePratique/SMEServer/index.php

but does not seem to have that option !

i have been to that panel 457654367346 times and never bothered to read:

"The ethernet address is optional and causes the DHCP server to statically bind the local IP address to the computer with this ethernet address. If specified, it must be of the form "AA:BB:CC:DD:EE:FF" and must contain only thenumbers 0-9 and the letters A-F."

thank you  :-D
