Title: Spamassassin local.cf editing and admin panel
Post by: oliverm on December 01, 2004, 05:34:09 PM
Hi,

Im trying to remove the [SPAM xx out of xx] subject tag that SA puts in to spams. This is easier enough, just use a # to comment out the appropriate line in the local.cf file in teh spamassassin dir. However, each time i add an entry to the white list using teh SME spam panel it rewrites ALL of the entries in local.cf effectively un-commenting the line i have commented out.

Is there a way to prevent this from happening? Perhaps another way to prevent SA from adding the subject line tag which wont get overwritten by SME.

Any ideas?

Did you change the template fragments in
/etc/e-smith/templates-custom/etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf?
