Hi All,
I'm hosting one website and their mail is hosting at their ISP.
I can't send any email to this domain. I'm running SME contrib version.
Under Server manager :
Current list of hostnames for tanknology.com.au.
Hostname Visibility Location Local IP Global IP Ethernet address Action

ftp.tanknology.com.au Local Self Modify Remove
proxy.tanknology.com.au Local Self Modify Remove
wpad.tanknology.com.au Local Self Modify Remove
www.tanknology.com.au Local Self Modify Remove
I try removing the mail.tanknology.com.au but no luck.
If i dig
[root@ausnetitgw root]# dig tanknology.com.au MX
; <<>> DiG 9.2.1 <<>> tanknology.com.au MX
;; global options: printcmd

can you resolve the mail.optusnet.com.au dns name to an ip address?
When you did the dig tanknology.com.au MX, was that on your SME server?
On an un-modified SME server the mx record will resolve to mail.<domain name>. As you can't remove mail maybe you need to set the mail hostname to be remote with the ip address of 211.29.132.243 (mail.optusnet.com.au's ip address)
