Title: removing contribs
Post by: crazybob on December 04, 2004, 07:57:20 AM
I have installed a contrib that I wish to completely remove. It was installed from a script that installed both some rpms and some custom template fragments. I understand how to remove the rpms, but how do I remove the template fragments?

Thanks

Bob

do you know the path for the template fragments?  If you do, delete them and then expand the template (/sbin/e-smith/expand-template /template/path). reboot or restart the service and that should be it.

there is a contrib "sme-server-update-system-1.0-1.noarch.rpm", that panel can update contribs.
in the "advanced options" there is the chance to delete contribs.
if the "delete" is not visible in your system, enter this command in the console:
"/sbin/e-smith/db configuration setprop updatesystem RemoveRpm enabled" (it is one line)
