Title: can not access web
Post by: crazybob on December 07, 2004, 07:28:44 PM
I have a server running 5.6U4 in server/gateway mode tied to dsl modem. It was running fine until yesterday. Now I have no or very slow access speed to webpages. I can putty in from remote site. I can ping by name and it will resolve and return results. I can ping from a work station and it will resolve and display results. Workstations can use file server function with no problems. Any Ideas or at least point me in a direction to look ?

Thanks

Bob

Have you rebooted the SME system, and/or disconnected and reconnected your ADSL link?

After much head banging and hair tearing, it turns out it was the ISP that was the problem. Not sure what happened, but it works now.
