I am new to this and was wondering if the SME server can act as a mail server for multiple domains? ie abc.com and xyz.com? How would I go about configuring this or find out how to configure it if it is possible?
Thanks
Dan

go to the server manager, and creat an ibay (information bay) for hosting that site, and enable Execution of dynamic content (CGI, PHP, SSI) for that ibay, that way the html folder shows up if your accessing it via explorer or ftp, now go to domains and creat a virtual domain and tell it to point to the ibay that you created for the site.
oh yeah just put the content in the html folder in the ibay name, and you can ftp to it to update it, or pptp.
you should also RTM ;-)

To just use SME server for multi domain email all you need to do is to add the domains to the Domains area in server-manager.
You'll also need to point the mx records for these domains to your server.
There you go. Try sending an email to a vaid user on the server with one of your other domains as the email address.
Should just drop into their mailbox.
If you want to host several domains but only want certain users to be able to receive from their own domains you'll have to install dungog's mailblocking contrib. With this you can specify which users can receive mail from specific domains. The latest version of the contrib can be found on the version 3 unofficial update script. Obviously you only need to grab the dungog-mailblocking-<version>.noarch rpm
To host websites for the domains follow what funkusmunkus wrote
