Try putting the message into google.
Come up with too much to stuff to put here.
Have you change anything lately? Add new hardware? Installed new rpm's?
A little more info on what your system is will help

did you try upgrading the kernel to 2.6.X?? I am having this problem when I try to update my kernel to 2.6.9.
just my $0.02.

Did you delete the /initrd directory (thinking that it shouldn't have been there and was empty anyway)?
If yes, create it with ownership root:root & chmod of 0755.

I have done nothing to the system no upgrades or files deleted. It locked up so I rebooted it now it wont even boot up all the way, it hangs I get the SME splash screen then it gives me the MSG above.

Make sure that you still have an /initrd directory. This directory is empty, but the server will not boot without it.
