Hi!
I have got a travan tr-4 tape drive and i have got only 8/4 GB tapes. My hard drives capacity is more than 8 GB. I have configured my system, to back up every day. So what will be happen, if my tape is full? Is it possible to store the archives on more tapes?

Not currently with flexbackup, you'd have to use another tape backup solution like tapeware, arkeia, etc. I've not used either one extensively, so I can't give you a good recommendation.

Thank you for the help.
Otherwise, can i use the compressed capacity of the tape (8GB), or i have to use the uncompressed capacity (4GB)?

I used to have a travan drive. Here is my experience, as long as you are backing up files that are not flagged to be not compressed, then you should be fine. My 4/8 was backing up 5.5 GB of data.
This is the line in flexbackup.conf that specifies what file types to not compress.
$nocompress_types = 'mp3 Z z gz gif zip lha jpeg jpg taz tgz deb rpm bz2';
