Title: rdiff-backup on version 6.01
Post by: pwgsc1 on December 17, 2004, 03:10:25 AM
Hi Folks,

Does anyone have Rdiff-backup installed and working on 6.01?  I tried the method in the contrib but that's an old version of the Rdiff-backup.

If I try to install the latest stable release of Rdiff-backup I get these dependency errors:

- libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.3) is needed by Rdiff-backup
- python >+2.2 is needed by Rdiff-backup

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Craig

Has anyone had any success at running Rdiff-backup on 6.01 ??

Have looked at the howto for 5.x but will not work for 6.01 as you run into dependance problems.  Appreciate any pointers as I need to get it working on 6.01.
